Day 3

World Cup fever. There's no right way to explain it. It's that feeling you get when you see your favorite team win, or watch your favorite striker bury a goal in the corner of the net just out of the reach of the goalkeeper. It's intense and sometimes completely overwhelming to the senses. You may support one team or multiple, but either way there is always a moment that takes you in and makes you a part of the game. You become the game. It sounds silly but to us the football faithful that is our life.
World Cup fever is contagious, and it's the best kind of fever to have. Feel it. Cherish it. Then get it all over again four years from now. To be fair, it'll never really go away. A year from now you'll still be talking about that amazing goal or that surprising upset. The memories are there. They'll last until the next time 'round.

There is no cure. I wouldn't want one.
