Everyone living in American has heard or even said these words at some point. I won't even attempt to count how many times I have heard the words 'American Dream' because I would never get an accurate count. But this brings me to a question I have asked myself many times but have never expressed openly until now...
What is the American Dream and how can you measure it?
What is the 'American Dream' made of? Can I customize it? Has it changed in recent years? And why should I bother go and achieve it? That first question has spawned so many more, even more than I have shown here. It would be greatly appreciated if someone,anyone, could answer any of these questions. But before anyone answers, please be warned that any answer containing the words 'white picket fence' will not be accepted.
